1. General Provisions

By this Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the Policy), you consent to the processing of your personal data in order to provide role-based access, preparation of statistical, administrative and other information on vocational training. Before using the Portal, please carefully familiarize yourself with your rights and obligations regarding the processing of personal data, which are specified in Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Personal Data”, this Policy, and express your full consent to its terms.

2. Collection and use of personal data

Personal data is collected solely upon your conscious and voluntary decision as a subject of personal data to use the functionalities of the Portal and in accordance with the purpose of personal data processing formulated in this Policy. The extent and type of collection and use of your personal data varies depending on the role in which you plan to use the functionality of the Portal. By registering on the Portal and filling in your personal account details, depending on your chosen role, you provide the following data: Full name, date of birth, gender, or other identification data, phone number and e-mail; information related to your professional activity: place of work, position, job category, specialty, qualification, scientific degree, academic title, etc.; when further using the Portal, information about the information contained in the requests of feedback forms / e-mails is automatically collected.

3. Purpose of collection, processing and use of personal data

Collection, processing and use of personal data is carried out in order to: provide role access, in particular: registration of the Portal subjects; organization of electronic interaction of the Portal subjects through personal accounts; generalization and systematization of registers and structured data, in particular: formation of a list; monitoring, generalization and analysis of statistical data generated by the Portal subjects as a result of its use. Personal data is stored for a period no longer than necessary for the purpose of its collection, processing and use or until the moment you stop using the Portal by deleting your account on the Portal.

 

4. Access to personal data

Full access to personal data of the registered subjects of the Portal is granted to the authorized person of the Administrator of the Portal.

5. Transfer of personal data to third parties

Administrator of the Portal e-science.space does not transfer and does not disclose personal data, which he receives from registered subjects of the Portal, to third parties. Disclosure of personal data is possible in cases defined by the current legislation of Ukraine, as well as in case of involvement of third parties providing technical support and/or services to improve the Portal under the terms of the contract and on condition of non-disclosure of personal data. The Portal may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites and other resources on the Internet of third parties. Third party resources may be governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies. Third party resources and their content are not reviewed by us for compliance with requirements (reliability, completeness, legality, etc.). We are not responsible for any information, materials posted on third party resources.

 

6. Protection of personal data

The Portal Administrator shall take the necessary procedural and technical measures to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorized access to it or its dissemination on the Portal.

7. Changes to the terms of the Policy

The Portal Administrator may modify this Policy to ensure that it accurately reflects the manner in which it collects, processes, uses, accesses and protects personal data. Accordingly, you should review this Policy periodically. When the Portal Administrator modifies this Policy, it will update the “last modified” date at the top of this Policy. Changes to this Policy are effective when published.

8. Your rights

By registering on the Portal, you have the right: to receive information about the sources of collection and place of storage of your personal data, the purpose of their processing; to receive information about the conditions of providing access to personal data, in particular, information about third parties to whom your personal data are transferred; to receive not later than thirty calendar days from the date of receipt of the request (except as provided by the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Personal Data”) information about the processing and use of your personal data; to present the motive of the personal data processing and use of your personal data; to receive information about the reasons for the request; to receive the information about the use of your personal data; to receive the information about the personal data processing and use of your personal data.
